You've made a good choice in joining this platform. Now it's time to get started learning about affiliate marketing and building your online income stream.

Before you get further into the next lessons, let's talk about the things that can hinder your progress and your success with PWA, or any other endeavour to make money online...

Shiny Object Syndrome
Not Taking Action (Consistently) and Giving Up Too Soon

… and there is actually an interlink between both of them.

If you've never heard about Shiny Object Syndrome, it's the habit of chasing after the latest business opportunities, buying one product after another, hopping from one program to the next, then to the next... all the while, you’re not really making any real progress.

Here's what often happens...

You read a sales page of an online business opportunity... Your brain is filled with thoughts of the internet lifestyle grandeur and making "easy" money from the comfort of your home... sales pages are designed to do this by the way.You make the purchase.Filled with excitement and the novelty of it all, you start going through the product almost immediately.You try it out for a week or two… then probably get distracted or bored as you realize that there is actual work involved... and you're not making the amount of money you thought you would, as as soon as you thought you would.At the same time, you get bombarded with emails and ads about other new opportunities... Shiny Object Syndrome kicks in.You purchase that new product... even though you didn't follow through and implement much of anything from the previous product.… the cycle continues.It's a sure recipe for information overload, confusion, frustration, overwhelm, buyers’ remorse… and you end up not actually making any money at all.

Here's what to do instead...

Get in the right mindset - treat affiliate marketing and your online business as a real business.
Get your hands on a good training course - you've already got that with PWA.
Go through the entire course... follow and implement what’s being taught. This may mean setting time out in your daily schedule to work through the lessons.
Take consistent action... And stick with it even if you don’t see results right away.

If you take this approach, you'll be in a much better position than if you go jumping around from program to program chasing the dream of "quick riches".

It is going to require some discipline and commitment on your part, but you'll be very happy you did in the coming months.
