"Ewen Chia's SuperAffiliate.com Provides Extremely Value For People Wanting to Build A Successful Affiliate Marketing Business"

Ewen Chia launched SuperAffiliates.com in December, 2007. In this SuperAffiliates.com review I would indicate what is including in the membership, give my personal opinion of the materials provided and I discuss whether or not, and if so, how my being a member has benefited my affiliate marketing business. This review may be considered a bit long, but that's because of the amount of material provided at the site.

SuperAffiliates.com - What's Included In the Membership

Ewen provides you with quite a lot of material as a member of this site... and I mean a lot of information. The material is divided into 5 Modules as well as some bonuses, as outlined below.

Module 1 - 15-Step Top Secret Super Affiliates Blueprint

In this 120 document, Ewen discusses what differentiates a super affiliate marketer from a normal affiliate marketer. He stresses on such things as simplicity (very important), branding, focus, list building, developing a relationship with your list and creativity, to name a few.

Ewen then discusses each part of his 15-step approach to super affiliate marketing. The foundation of his approach is to choose a market, create an offer, send traffic to that offer, build a list and market backend offers to that list. And of course there is tweaking and improving your conversions and commissions. Ewen discusses each step in good detail. I am not too happy with the section on getting traffic to your sites, but he more than makes up for it with the step-by-step video tutorials (Module 2).

If you have ever purchased any of Ewen's previous affiliate marketing courses, some of the information here would look familiar... such as his discussion on the basics of affiliate marketing.

Module 2 - Step-by-Step Video Tutorial Training

Module 2 provides you with 51 training videos. These videos provide training in basic as well as advanced affiliate marketing skills. Just to give an example of what is covered, topics include "registering a domain name", "using a FTP to upload your files", "beginners HTML", "writing ad copy", "creating your first ebook", "creating classified ads", "installing a customer support desk", "installing a free blog", "creating website videos", etc, etc. All videos can be viewed online or downloaded to your computer (in flv file format). The quality of the videos is good.

These are a good set of videos for anyone now starting out with affiliate marketing as well as someone who has a bit of experience. In addition, they serve as good reference material to have for you internet business.

Note: Ewen recently added 53 additional training videos which he refers to as "The Under Ground Videos". This additional set of videos is divided into 3 sections as follows:

Introduction to Your Super Affiliate Business - This section is comprised of 14 videos covering topics such as "What The Internet Marketing Business Is All About", "How Affiliate Marketing Works and Why It Works", "Affiliate Pay-Per-Click Marketing", etc, etc...

Finding Affiliate Programs and Setting Up Your Super Affiliate Marketing Plan - This section provides you with a step-by-step marketing plan comprising of 10 steps and shown in 25 videos.

Super Affiliate Traffic Generation Strategies - There are 15 videos covering the various ways to drive traffic to your websites, including viral reports, pay-per-click, press releases, ezine ads, social networking, blogs, and more... I love these videos!

Module 3 - Super Affiliates Monthly Expert Audio Training

Module 3 provides the audios (mp3 file) and transcripts of interviews with super affiliate marketers. In December, the interview was of Ewen himself talking about the strategies that he uses in his affiliate marketing business. He also talks a bit about the steps he goes through in developing the site highlighted in this case study (Module 4). The audio in this interview isn't the best. In addition, its a bit difficult to understand everything he says, since English isn't his first language. 

The January Interview is with super affiliate marketer Nikhil Parekh and there are some good insights here.

Module 4 - Super Affiliates Commissions Live Video Case Study

Module 4 consists of videos of affiliate marketing case studies. For the December case study, Ewen highlighted one of his own websites and shows you step-by-step how he creates the website, captures his visitors information to build his list (he claims to have a 75% opt-in rate!) and how he maximises his affiliate commissions.

For the January Case Study, Ewen shows you how to increase your commissions by creating affiliate bonuses.

Module 5 - Super Affiliates Mystery Instant Business-In-A-Box

Each month, Ewen provides a "Business-In-A-Box" for a particular niche. This package is comprised of a set of 10 articles, a set of forum signatures, a short report to give away to your visitors, graphics for the report, an autoresponder series, a list of keywords & ready-made PPC ads and a list of top recommended affiliate programs. For the December issue the niche was "MLM" and for the January issue it was "forex trading".

Now, personally, I like this module because it saves me a lot of time and effort since I don't have to do the research for myself. Also, there are several sites which offer a similar service, that is, provide you with materials (autoresponder series, articles, keywords, etc) each month for different niches. For the ones that I am aware of some cost more and provide less while some cost less and provide just about the same.

Bonuses - Instant Affiliate Commissions Step-by-Step Video Tutorials & Members' Additional Bonus Training Materials

The Instant affiliate Commissions Videos show you step-by-step how to quickly set up a Affiliate Marketing Campaign. The videos guide you through picking a niche, picking affiliate programs to join, creating your website and marketing your website using article marketing, PPC and social bookmarking. 

Additional Bonus Training Materials are going to be added on a monthly basis it seems. For December, there is an "Internet Marketing Dictionary" and a video showing some "special traffic techniques"... these were actually techniques I was not previously aware of. For the January issue, there is an mp3 recording of a "Passive Income Secrets" Teleclass. For February, there is a set of videos on getting traffic from Google Adwords, Facebook Social Ads and Social Bookmarking.

Note that this is the only section that has been updated so far (this is the second week of February) for February. The materials for Modules 3, 4 and 5 have not be provided as yet.

SuperAffiliates.com - What You Should Be Mindful Of

Ewen provides a lot of material in various formats; pdfs, videos and audios. As such, its going to take you a long time to download the files as well as a long time to go through them. I estimate that there are about 130 files to download and so far the folder to where I am downloading the files my computer is a little over 1GB!). Before you even start downloading, I recommend that you develop some sort of file management structure on your computer.

Because of the amount of material, you can easily suffer from information overload. Here is what you may want to do... The first thing read should be the 15-Step Blueprint since this provides a good overview of what would be involved in building your super affiliate marketing business. Now while your reading that, you can download all the other materials (preferably using a download manager). Next you should go through Modules 3 and 4.. again because it gives a good overview of Ewen's affiliate marketing system. Once you have decided which niche you are going to target, then go through the Affiliate Traffic Generation Strategies. Choose one strategy, implement it, get comfortable with it, then move on to another strategy.

A lot of people purchase affiliate marketing or internet marketing courses, in hope that something would be revealed in the material that would make them rich quickly. This is the wrong attitude. Further, people often purchase the product, don't implement what is recommended, but expect to get results... and when they don't get results, become frustrated and give up... again, this is the wrong attitude. Basically, I am saying that if you don't intend to take action, then don't purchase a membership to superaffilites.com or any other membership site.

SuperAffiliates.com - How Has My Membership Helped My Affiliate Marketing Business

I haven't been able to implement all of the recommendations that have been given as yet. However, there are two ways the my membership has helped me. Firstly, there is one strategy that I was introduced to in the material (its rather simple actually), which dealt with improving your search engine ranking. Within a couple of days of implementing this strategy, I was ranked #1 on Google for a particular search term. The search does not get much searches/month, but it is a very targeted search term and it did result in two sales for the product I was promoting.

Secondly, I have been wanted to get into the "forex" market for some time, but wasn't sure how to approach it. Well, the January issue of Business-In-A-Box, covered this topic, and provided me much need content and a strategy for entering into the market.

Conclusion

All in all, I think that Super Affiliates is a great membership site mainly because of the following reasons:

Ewen stresses on building a serious affiliate marketing business versus just doing affiliate marketing by the way and not taking it too serious.

You are provided with a lot of good material. If you have purchased any of Ewen's previous courses, your are going to be familiar with some of the content.

The videos provide an excellent medium for learning the various techniques and strategies.

You are provided with techniques and strategies on how to drive targeted traffic to your website and how to maximise on this traffic by increasing your commissions. As I have indicated, just by implementing one of the techniques recommended, I was able to increase my ranking in Google as well as additional sales.
